He didn't actually say that, but he should have, and who could blame him?  After mysteriously letting go of John Carney two seasons ago, the Saints have had nothing even close to decent at kicker.  I hope Mickey Loomis watched the game winner Carney kicked in New York today.  Gramatica was not the only reason the Saints (for 2 straight weeks) managed to screw up a win-able game, but his utter gutlessness is the most visible.  Reggie Bush, for 3 straight weeks now has put up his numbers, got into the end zone, and just to be well rounded, helped his opponent say in/win the game.  Without his fumble, the Saints win.  I wonder when people are going to figure out that his mistakes totally negate his highlights.  The D was slightly less pathetic, although they

10 Things I Noticed last Sunday

10) Vilma is well worth the investment

9)  Jeremy Shocky ran out on the field to congradulate Charles Grant on a sack

8)  Reggie Bush did not do anything we didnt already know he could do

7)  Pierre Thomas will see a lot of time on the field this year, and for the next several years

6)  Deuce, while dressed, did not play 1 down

5)  Joey Galloway's long catch was 13 yards, as opposed to his usual 89yd per catch average against the Saints 

4)  The new look D only gave up 13 points to the defending NFC South Champions, led by a Pro Bowl QB

3)  This is already shaping up to be a tight division race

2)  Jeremy Shockey blended in with the rest of the team

    The addition of former New York Giant Jeremy Shockey was a big deal, according to ESPN.  And while I do agree to some extent, I cant help but wonder why this deal took as long as it did.  I also cant help but wonder if this time and effort spent on acquiring Shockey could have been spent on someone like Asante Samuel who would have easily been a more valuable piece to the puzzle.  I am excited to see the Saints upgrade at any position no matter what it is, but the upgrades most Saints fans would have wanted to see was on defense.  They drafted well, however, Sedric Ellis is young and unproven, meanwhile John Lynch and Lito Sheppard are out and about and possible options to compliment Gay and McKenzie.  The addition of Shockey is the equivalent of
