     The recession has crippled the “living big” option for many Americans these days, but the unthinkable 222 days between Super Bowl Sunday and opening day makes the economy’s pain penetrate deeper for football fans, even Big Daddy. Saints fans in attendance Friday displayed youthful exuberance anticipating great success in the upcoming campaign.      Kingpin regulars got served a heaping helping of Black ’n’ Gold passion Saturday night, courtesy of Big Daddy. The Saints inspired and aggressive play drew constant Big Daddy roars, curing patrons from their infection of Crescent City Malaise, a condition which strikes local residents every August, sinking victims into a coach potato hibernation. Hopefully, those lucky few will spread the “Good News” vaccine— Watch Saints Football! In this week’s edition of Saints Beat, Big Daddy covers the Mose Jefferson verdict, examines the Michael Anderson murder case, recaps the Houston game, praises Jason David’s departure, remembers Hurricane Katrina, and his releases World Famous Pregame Information.
